The only Thing i have to say to DistroKid is "Go To Hell"
As a Musician and also an advocate for the "New Web" I felt great to stop paying my Music Distrobuter (DistroKid) 70NZD per year.
DistroKid Is A SCAM! Its as simple as that! Not only have they double chagered me over 30NZD my original fee, but they have also done nothing that should make me pay a big courpret companyThat Much!
I make music For a living and thats one of the reasons i can do this. I dont put music on spotify enough to justify the price tag DistroKid Puts along with it.
The shame is that Many people dont realise that their being scammed! Some of my biggest complaints about distrokid is that other services offer the thing at cheaper prices!
I hate how music is being capatilised off of like its a product, and most music now feels like it came out of a factory. In better words it feels Synthetic.
To anyone reading this who is into music. DONT USE DISTROKID AS YOUR DISTROBUTER
